Expecting your first child is such a momentous occasion for anyone–but this sweet couple’s “first” is actually twin girls! Tad and Lauren are anxiously awaiting the birth of their daughters and wished to capture memories of Lauren’s beautiful belly during this incredible time. I loved, LOVED this session! Tad and Lauren are such a fun and energetic couple and our session was filled with lots of laughter. I am really looking forward to meeting their precious girls this summer!

What a fun session this was! Julie hoped for a sweet session with her one-year old daughter, Sarah, in a bright and colorful place. Surreybrooke Gardens in Middletown was a perfect setting to capture Sarah’s sweet giggle and brand new teeth! In addition to enjoying the many gardens at Surreybrooke and gorgeous sunset that evening, we were able to visit with the resident miniature horses and friendly cats on the property. This is definitely the first session where I’ve had my flip-flop-covered foot licked by a miniature horse–I was definitely guilty of trying to get Sarah to laugh while ignoring how close I was to the horses’ fence! Lots of love to Julie for inviting me to capture this special time in Sarah’s life!

I enjoyed a fun walk around downtown Frederick with Vanessa and Matt! Matt recently proposed to Vanessa under the gorgeous willow tree on the east side of Baker Park, so of course, we had to capture images of them at this special location. Their wedding day is just around the corner and they’ll exchange their vows at Turf Valley Resort in Ellicott City. Wishing them a beautiful wedding day filled with lots of laughter and great memories!

When this mom told me she was imagining a session with her children in a field of flowers, I had just the place! How perfect is this field set against the gorgeous sunset light? And their white attire and golden hair–heavenly! This session also served as a gentle reminder that I need to get on the other side of the camera with my own children very soon, too!
